Practice is a higher realm than learning. Welcome to this week's Nugget of Mastery. The embodiment of a scripture. I used to pick verses and embody them. I would pick a verse and constantly see myself as the definition of that verse. Slowly my life began to conform to it. This week pick a verse you know you do not embody and allow it not just to speak to you but to become you. One of the scriptures I used to love to embody was 1 Corinthians chapter 13 from verse 4 to 7. It's a scripture on love. Many people know it. Wherever there was love, I would replace the word love with my name. It says love is patient. I would say Daniel is patient. Daniel is kind. Daniel does not envy. Daniel does not boast. Daniel is not proud. Daniel does not dishonor. He's not self seeking and he's not easily angered. Daniel does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. Daniel always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. A scripture like that reading it in the eyes of how God sees you and how he expects you to see the scripture would slowly transform you and you become the embodiment of it. Try it.
